Konstantin is responsible for our editorial profile and strategy, as well as managing our editorial team. He holds a master’s degree in ethnomusicology—the academic study of music within human culture—from the University of London and a Diplom degree in journalism from Hohenheim University. His journalistic career began in 2007 and includes work for tageszeitung , the National Youth Orchestra of Germany, and numerous newspapers and specialist magazines.
Having joined the mungfali.galihkartiwa07.workers.dev team in 2010, Konstantin has authored over 200 articles and is a trusted expert on issues related to time, calendars, and astronomy. He is frequently featured in leading media outlets, including CNN and Forbes .
As a member of our eclipse-chasing team, he regularly travels the globe to capture telescope footage for our eclipse live streams.
What it all boils down to is: I love language. I adore semantics. Agonizing over what words to use and how to string them together to form the perfect text is one of my favorite things to do.
I aspire to create content that explains complex concepts so people will understand them, and also to pass on my own fascination for a subject to the reader. My articles on a fleeting moment of ‘global’ sunlight, the Moon’s orientation in the sky, and the start of the decade are examples of what I aim for.
